View Full Version : [FEEDBACK] Website:forums: Menu: White Text Links very difficult to read.
So, the menu here on the forums, the one that starts with "New Posts" is in white text on a light background and goes right across a white area in the background making it impossible to read at that point. It becomes difficult to read at "FAQ" and impossible to read until "Forum" starts to appear and "Actions" becomes clear.

It's not perfect, my suggestion - try the blue color of the Hedone-bar: "HOME THE GAME NEWS"
Now we have black on black. I know how difficult this can be, designed a few sites myself ;)
Perhaps making the text bold, or a bit heavier, and using the same blue as the banner links at the top? Or a darker shade of the orange used around the page? I did notice some of the links have a sort of button shape grey background on roll-over, maybe using white text would work better if the links had that background shape on all the time?
I feel like one of difficult clients. So sorry, just wanted to offer feedback on legibility. I'll be sure to look at this in a few other browsers to see if it's any different.

EDIT
Looks the same in other browsers. And I see that CzkOtay had the same idea about the blue ;)

Blue seems to be more legible than black or white. So much easier to read. I'm REALLY impressed with how fast that was done.
On a personal note, thank you! I wasn't going to mention it, but I realized that if it was affecting me, it was probably the same for other people as well.
