The Hedone forums are a place for players and fans of our upcoming title Hedone to gather to discuss and debate topics and to keep updated with news and articles posted by Acony Games.
To ensure an enjoyable and positive experience for members of these forums, they are monitored by Acony Games’ Community Team and moderators, who will ensure these forum rules are adhered to.
By joining these forums you agree to follow the rules as laid out below at all times, and will not use the forums to “post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violate of any law. You agree not to post any copyright protected material unless the copyright protected material is owned by you”
These rules are designed to ensure that whilst everyone is free to have a good debate, argument or a bit of fun, the forums are kept to a level that is acceptable to everyone who may use them.
There will be cases where an Acony Games’ community team member will have to take action against a post or thread, if this is required they may take one or more of the following actions:
• Send a warning to the user explaining that the forum rules have been broken, and guidelines to ensure no further breaches occur.
• Modify or delete posts / threads.
• Lock offending threads.
• Ban the user for a period of time, or in extreme cases permanently.
Whilst it is unlikely we will ever have to take further actions, users of the forums should be aware that in extreme cases we reserve the right to:
• Disclose any information to law enforcement agencies as necessary.
• Seek further Legal if necessary.
Forum Guidelines
The following points apply to every section of the forum.
All Threads, comments and posts must;
• Be factual
• Comply with the laws of the Germany and the country of origin
• Be in good spirit
They should not;
• Be obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory.
• Be sexually explicit.
• Contain harmful language or swearing (including any methods to bypass the swear filter such as masked swearing).
• Target or attack any person.
• Encourage or promote discrimination of others for any reason, including race, religion or nationality.
• Breach any legal duty (such as NDAs).
• Provide personal details of people.
• Infringe on any copyright. trademark or any other propriety right of any other person or company.
• Be designed to bump threads, or spam a certain message
• Impersonate any person, whether a member of the public or an employee / representative of Acony Games
• Contain links to sites, videos, images or any other media which breaches these rules
• Contain any advertisements or promotion of any services or weblinks to other sites
