Connection Error

Greetings! I've been trying to connect (from within the game) for an hour now and nothing seems to work. I've tried the repair function (which downloaded the game), but I get the same error. If I'm not mistaken, the beta should be open right now. I'm using the EU client and EU beta key. At least this is what the e-mail I received says:

Dear Beta-Tester,

Congratulations, you have been chosen to take part in the European Hedone Closed Beta.

Any tips? Thanks!

Edit: Is it possible that I have a US key? I can't recall where I got it from...

I doubt it is an US key if your E-Mail says you're in the EU Beta.

You said you tried to connect from the game, so were you able to log into the game?

have you checked your firewall settings? Are you running the game as administrator?

Any other information like DXDiag, your connection Type etc. would be helpful as well.

Sigh...I guess I'm not going to be testing Hedone after all... It's like a Parabelum déjà vu all over again except for non-existent support, even crappier launcher and no file hosting on the official site. And here I thought Bioware's SW: TOH was a let down in that department...

But really....how much has changed from the Parabellum days anyway? I was one of the first people beta testing and it had so many bugs...Guess I'll never know.
