View Full Version : Log in / Account Problems? Please read!

It has become apparent that some players have trouble activating or logging in with their account. This thread is to provide a checklist and/or help to get it to work! Generally, the more details you can provide us here, in e-mails or PM's, the better. But before you start e-mailing, please check below.

1. No e-mail received
Did not receive an activation e-mail with a key? Check your spam folders. If you've set up your Message Filters in a way that it automatically removes spam, then feces has hit the ventilator :). Please contact community@aconygames.com, so we can investigate the matter.

2. Cannot log-in
First of all, logging should be possible at any given time, even outside the playtesting days.

"Error: The Password/log in combination does not match an existing account."

This could be caused by several reasons:

1. Check if you've downloaded the correct client. United States, Canada and Mexico need to download the NA (North America) version, whereas Europe can download the EU version. Are you from neither of those areas, please send an e-mail to community@aconygames.com, so we can check which area key you should have received.

2. Your forum log-in is seperate from the game login. You can only log into the game with the name you've provided on the Beta Key registration page.
(Note: If you specifically chose to use the same login details on both forum and the game, then this section is irrelevant.)

3. Check if you have typed the login correctly (check Capslock too, it's a nasSTY BUGGER ;)), as it's case sensitive. Also make sure it's the correct username that you picked when registering for a beta key. I've made this mistake more than once :).

3. Did you play in the CBT1 (EU) as a US/Mexico/Canada based player? It could be that your account was not transfered to the US database. Please send an e-mail to community@aconygames.com, providing your login name (forum and/or game login).


Acony members or moderators cannot provide beta keys personally or reset your password for you. When the above mentioned tips don't help, please send an e-mail to community@aconygames.com, stating your problem, and providing as many details as possible like game-login details or forum nickname.

I received a key but that does not resolve my issue I don't know how many times I have to stress this. I already provided my e-mail and username and all that to the developers and they said they'd fix up my transfer but nothing has been done yet. I don't want to make new account I want to retain the already existing account details that I have, I already made a synth with my desired in-game name on the EU client so I don't want to make a new account with a username and synth name/s that I don't want, all I want is to simply transfer my account from EU to US, it still hasn't been done and it's been at least two weeks now.

I been trying to make an account for this game, however there seems to be a glitch on the website... I can't select Yes on the "Accept User Agreement" option.

Didn't feel the need to do so since two different developers requested my login information already on two seperate occasions after reading my problem prior to this thread being made, but I'll send an e-mail now.

Yes please. As we had so many requests or players experiencing issues with their account, it's probably better to send it to community@aconygames.com. That way certain people won't get overloaded with requests, or the wrong people approached.

One thing I have discovered with absolute certainty is that in addition to the password field being case sensitive the username field is as well. The username "User" will let me login, but "user" will not, it does coincide with what I put in my account name blank in the registration form.

is it posible to play hedone on us server if i am from europe,,,i got beta key but it didnt accept as european and it accepted american region so i downloaded client for us and game works but no matches (i think because time zone):cool:

wite an email to community@aconygames.com I guess they're able to fix your region ;) Which would mena you have to redwonload the European Version.

Well I've done exactly what you've said KittySparkles, I've sent an email to the address you provided outlining my issue but still nothing has been done and it's been quite an extensive period of time.

<playtests take place every wednesday, Friday saturday and Sunday from 6pm to 2am (CET) for the European and 6pm to 2am (MST) for the US.
Server can only be created during these times.

This information has been given in several threads.

Im having an issue logging in the game. I did the beta key register but I keep getting a message at the top saying Password/login combination doesn't match any existing account or have invalid characters. Then if i retry It tells me its already registered. So i try logging in but it says the username or password is invalid.

I tried a password reset but get the same "Password/login combination doesn't match any existing account or have invalid characters" message.

I found out (the not-so-hard way) why us n00bs are having as many issues as we are; the login screen is for accounts that have already logged in once. If you have activated your beta key and installed the client, don't try logging in from the client screen - simply click Play after the client connects and auto-updates (if needed, to download a new patch). After the client actually starts, you'll be confronted with a new login screen - enter the login/password combo you selected *there*. (This will be *after* the intro content, and just before you create your character.) Once you successfully log in, you'll be able to create your character. (You can do this outside of testing hours - I wasn't able to get the client installed until after the last playtest period, but I created my character today.)

Have fun - but beware of anvils.

It is preventing me from checking in in regards to the window testing guest list but I CAN log in to the game.

Game and Forum login can be totally different. I believe you can try contacting support by emailing community@acony.com (or a very similar email account, i presume a mod will correct me if i'm wrong on the email)

Can't login too and none of those steps helped me. As I have been playing yesterday, 100% sure login is correct. Client is EU as I'm from EU and I was able to play the other day. Also I tried using both forum login too.

just downloaded the game enter the loggin sometimes it said connection error and sometimes its d/c me in the create player zone when he check the nick

That is a default error message. Your account has not been banned. But unfortunately there are currently no Beta Tests for US players.

You don't need a key at the moment. We're currently moving into a new Beta stage. Stay tuned for more information.
